Our Cards, Your Canvas

The  ‘Our Cards, Your Canvas’ SUBWAY® Gift Card design competition launched on Wednesday 4th July with an impressive 80 entries on day one. For the first time, designs of the popular SUBWAY® Gift Card from SUBWAY® restaurants are being thrown open to the New Zealand public.

In addition to a ‘Call for Entries’ email to the SUBCARD® base the competition is open to all SUBWAY® Facebook and Twitter fans and design schools all around the county. The feedback has been very positive and there are lots of hungry designers hoping for fame and fortune. Wonderful! Sounds great. Thanks for letting me know! Creative Kiwis are encouraged to download the SUBWAY® Gift Card template from subway.co.nz/design and submit designs for six different categories including; Mum’s the Word, Daddy Dearest, Super Teen (boy), Super Teen (girl), Christmas and Open (a generic SUBWAY® design). 

All entries will be judged by a SUBWAY® representative with the shortlist of designs uploaded to the SUBWAY® website on 14 August, 2012. The public will be invited to vote for their favourite design in each category. The most popular designer from each category will receive a SUBWAY® Gift Card loaded with $500 and the winning designs will be immortalised as a SUBWAY® Gift Card. The second and third most popular designs will each receive $100 and $50 respectively.
