justONE and .99 dominate 2014 NZDM Awards.


We started the night with the second most finalists (a very respectable 19) and finished it with 3 Golds, 7 Silvers, 6 Bronzes and the Grand Prix between us. Plus to cap off a great evening, justONE’s client Emily Blumenthal from Foodstuffs was named Direct Marketer of the Year for her rebooting of Foodstuffs’ approach to customer marketing including the launch of Clubcard.

The Clubcard launch, New World’s most important marketing initiative in 2014, also took out the Grand Prix, squeezing out its archrival Countdown, in what the judges described as “an extraordinary piece of work involving a significant strategic initiative – the strategy and execution was both clear and effective. But most of all we loved the sensitive creativity and the outstanding results achieved, driven by very clever analytics.

Especially pleasing was that every client that joined us on the night – New World, GIB®, LBC, Ziera, Lotto, L’Oreal, Genesis Energy and Farmers – took home an award. Huge congratulations to all our clients for these deserving wins.

2014’s results cement the dominance of justONE and .99 in the NZDM Awards, having won the Grand Prix four times in the last eight years.
